What is Otomo?

Otomo is an automotive rental marketplace for everyone to book their own transport choice. We work directly with local vendors across Indonesia to bring you the widest range of options.

Why should you book at Otomo?

We work with verified local vendors to provide the exact models with transparent pricing to allow you to compare easily between options. All bookings done through Otomo is also protected by our service guarantee.

Why currency will I be charged?

Our platform is using Indonesian Rupiah with US dollars to give our international customers a better idea of the prices. Charges will be made in Indonesian Rupiah.

Why payment modes are available?

We currently support all types of credit card for our bookings. Your card will not be charged until booking is confirmed by our partners. We are working towards to bringing more offline and bank transfer options in the future.

What if I do not have credit card?

We can still assist you with offline booking if you need to make payment via bank transfer. Reach out to us via one of our contact options such as email or WhatsApp, our team will be happy to help you with your booking.

Why I cannot book a car for today?

We only accept online bookings with at least 24 hours to service start to make sure your car is ready for you. If you need urgent bookings, reach out to us via our WhatsApp and our team will assist you with finding an available option.

Where do the cars, motorbikes, yachts and planes come from?

Our full range of automotive come from vendors across Indonesia that has been individually verified by our team at Otomo. We choose only the best vendors in each region to work with, ensuring your satisfaction.

What is the cancellation policy?

Some providers allow flexible cancellations that allow you to cancel bookings prior to service date but some are strict with no cancellations allowed. Please double check the cancellation policy before booking. If due to unforeseen reasons that you need to make changes, send us a message as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist.

Is the car in the photo exactly the same as the car I will get?

While we cannot guarantee the colour will be exactly as pictured, we can assure you will get the exact model unless due to unforeseen circumstances which a similar grade or higher will be offered in replacement.

If I book a driver, when will I get the contact number of the driver?

Once you make a booking, the vendor will reserve the car for you but driver may not be confirmed until the day due to scheduling of staffs. The assigned driver contact will be sent once confirmed by our partner and driver will send you a message via WhatsApp to communicate.

Do I need a valid driver’s licence to drive the car or motorbike on my own?

Yes, you will need a valid driver’s licence preferably with International Driver’s Permit for overseas residence especially those without English on their licence. Vendors may on their own discretion reject your collection if you are not able to provide your driver’s licence.

Can I list my own vehicle or driver services for booking?

Right now we are not able to list your services. We are working towards supporting private owners to allow leasing out your own vehicles or services.
